Located in Galle Fort, a world heritage site, The Bartizan’s original structure was built in the early 17th century Dutch colonial period. The building has undergone careful renovations to restore the structure to its former glory. Situated alongside the fort’s perimeter, The Bartizan has a rooftop terrace and unique tower rooms that offer unsurpassable views of the ocean and Galle Fort. The Bartizan’s ambiance is a mix of old world charm and modern luxuries, offering guests a tranquil retreat in an already charming town. Spacious rooms come with private balconies. All rooms boast modern furniture and fixtures and luxurious bathrooms with complimentary bath amenities. Guests enjoy a cool welcome drink upon arrival and daily breakfast. Free WiFi access is available throughout the property and rooms come with complimentary water and daily housekeeping. Galle Fort light house is 400 metres and Dutch Church is 500 metres from the property.
