Well located in the El Kharrazine district of Chefchaouene, Dar Bleu Pearl is located 1.3 km from Khandak Semmar, 400 metres from Mohammed 5 Square and 500 metres from Kasba. The guest house, housed in a building dating from 1950, is 300 metres from the Outa El Hammam Square. I am a young man, born in Chefchaouen, did my primary and high school and left to Tetouan for university and then to the US for my graduate studies. However, this is just a little about me. I created with friends from chefchaouen a local NGO that promotes reading, education and training for children and young people. I beilieve that human relations can flourish beyond time and place. And i want that Blue Pearl and its neighborhood be the place where people from various background and nationalities can connect to each other.

The Dar Blue Pearl is SO dear to me and so close to my heart. It is a place where my father, and the rest of my family membres were born. It is the place where I did all my preparation, homeworks and reading for my studies. It is a place where I felt as a child and as an adult very safe and so relaxed. So basically, I am sharing with you not only the place, but also a profound feeling of safety, relaxation; and satisfaction.

Well, it is needless to say that it is the neighborhood where i feel the most safe (yep! that maybe a given:) ...the neighborhood restaurant is few steps from Blue Pearl and it is called Assaada which means happiness...i know the family of the owner as well of those who are working there. these guys have been in the food business all their lives and they cook with heart...few steps down from Assaada you will find several banks (with ATM machines), the post office, the semetry where the founder of Chefchaouen (Ali Ben Rachid) is buried, the central market, the coffes and several other restaurants....Few steps upward from Assaada, there s the big square , the Kasbha, the big mosque, several nice coffes and restaurant that serve green tea...Since Blue Pearl is in English, not everybody knows it, but of you are lost you can ask about retaurant assaada or Derb ben Yaikoub and anyone in the neighborhood or even in Chefchaouen will be happily help you.
