Staying with us you will immerse yourselves in the vibrant local culture and community of the Maldives for a truly authentic experience. Don't worry, being in the middle of nowhere doesn't mean you have to forfeit the comforts of home. One The Island is equipped with all the modern conveniences and more. We offer a variety of amenities to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible. Breakfast on the terrace included either continental or local with wonderful views of the beach. We provide complimentary high-speed internet access throughout. There is also a guest lounge with games and books. We provide such services as: front desk, transfer, currency exchange, beach towels, excursions, laundry and room service on request. We are non-smoking property. One The Island advantages: - live house reef - Rescue Turtle Center - affordable staying - kids friendly - great service and hospitality - excursions: manta, sharks, turtles, dolphins, diving, snorkeling, fishing, island hopping, BBQ - best deals (accommodation + transfer) There are 3 modes of transfer from Male Airport to Naifaru: - speed boat (ferry), duration about 3 hours, one-way ticket 60 USD pp 2 ferries per day at 07:00 and 13:00. - domestic flight, duration 30 minutes, round-trip 300 USD pp 3-6 flights per day. - seaplane, duration 30 minutes, one way trip 250 USD pp We will always do our best to accommodate all requests to ensure you receive the very best that we have to offer. You can even custom create your own Maldives experience. Dive with dolphins, snorkel untouched reefs, surf the Atolls best break points, discover uninhabited islands, fish for big game or just enjoy a romantic candle lit dinner on the beach. Naifaru island, an idyllic paradise sat in the Indian Ocean, is the capital of Lhaviyani Atoll and sits just 141 kilometres north of Male. Lhaviyani Atoll is in top 5 of 26 the most beautiful atolls in the Maldives islands. There are 4 uninhabited islands, 3 sand banks and live house reef here next to Naifaru Island. Life on Naifaru is no different to any other busy city with shops, schools, restaurants, a hospital and activity and sight seeing facilities. Despite the modern way of life the people of Naifaru keep their traditional values and vibrant heritage alive. They are family oriented, hard working, kind and extremely welcoming. The island’s economy is based on fishing, retail and a fledgling tourism sector. Although English is widely spoken the national language is Dhivehi which is spoken by the islands approximate 5,000 inhabitants. Visitors should bear in mind that the Maldives is an Islamic country and their rules and beliefs should be respected at all times. Naifaru and all of the 1,190 Islands that make up the Maldives are full of exciting adventures, experiences and views.
