Willkommen bei unsere B&B Appelsteiger. Ein Nationaldenkmal aus dem 17. Jahrhundert, das 2018 vollständig restauriert wurde. Ausgestattet mit allen modernen Annehmlichkeiten, aber unter Wahrung der monumentalen Details, wurde ein schönes Gästehaus und ein Wohnraum für die Eigentümer und ihre Katze geschaffen. Das B & B befindet sich in bester Lage mitten im historischen Stadtzentrum von Dordrecht. Die geräumigen und ruhig gelegenen Zimmer befinden sich auf der Rückseite des Gebäudes mit Blick auf das Wasser der Voorstraatshaven-Wijnhaven. Zur Entspannung steht Ihnen ein großzügiger Aufenthaltsraum mit Sofa und großem Tisch zur Verfügung. Nach einem kurzen Spaziergang erreichen Sie zahlreiche Restaurants, Cafés, Geschäfte, Museen und historische Stätten. Als Gast können Sie eines der verfügbaren Fahrräder mieten, um einen Blick außerhalb der Stadt zu werfen. Sie radeln innerhalb einer halben Stunde zum schönen Naturschutzgebiet Hollandse Biesbosch oder nehmen den Wasserbus nach Modern und pulsierenden Rotterdam und zu den UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe.
Nach vielen Reisen in vielen Ländern, mit Übernachtungen in meist kleinen Hotels und Bed & Breakfasts, wurde die Idee geboren, ein schönes und gemütliches B & B in bester Lage in Dordrecht zu gründen. Nach langer Suche und mehr als einem Jahr Restaurierung und Modernisierung zogen wir kurz vor Weihnachten 2018 in unser schönes Zuhause und B & B. Mit großer Freude und Stolz bieten wir unseren Gästen ab März 2019 einen angenehmen Aufenthalt in 2 komplett restaurierten Zimmern, die mit modernem Luxus ausgestattet sind, einschließlich privater Badezimmer.
Das B & B befindet sich im Herzen des historischen Stadtzentrums von Dordrecht. Als älteste Stadt von Holland hat Dordrecht viele historische und monumentale Sehenswürdigkeiten. Für Kunst- und Kulturliebhaber bietet das alte Zentrum mehrere Museen, Kinos, ein Theater und gemütliche historische Straßen mit schönen Geschäften. Das gesamte Stadtzentrum kann zu Fuß erkundet werden. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten befinden sich im Umkreis von 1 km um das B & B. Der "Hof van Nederland" ( niederländische Hof), wo während des ersten freie-Staten-Treffens von 1572 der Grundstein für die unabhängige Republik der Niederlande (Vorläufer der heutigen Niederlande) gelegt wurde, ist nur 150 Meter entfernt. Sehen Sie die Stadt vom Wasser aus mit dem Flüsterboot der Dordtevaer. Sie müssen für diese einstündige Kreuzfahrt nicht weit gehen, denn der Startpunkt ist beim Grote Appelsteiger, gerade vor der Tür.
