one of our regulars has an saying about Nagarjun homestay. Its a home away from home. We are situatued in the base of Nagarjun hills at by side of balaju and bansthali .we are 30 minutes walk from the monkey temple, 30 minutes walk from thamel and 10 minutes walk from the balaju water gardens. The house was made for family living. There is 27/7 hot and cold, free mineral water, free WiFi, laundry, toilet paper. we will provide clean hygienic room with towel, fan for summer and in winter we provide extra blanket with heated bed (bed heater) . we have big living room with satalite tv sofas and open kitchen environment so that you can cook our own meals or watch tv .we provide heavy organic two meal per day . homemade breakfast with tea /coffee ,bread ,jam and butter ,egg for non vegetarian ,homemade soup and seasonable fruit on it .in dinner typical dalbhat with seasonable vegetable and meat for non vegetarian. No pets on the house but we welcome pets. We focus on proving the local experience food and culture. Our homestay was establish with an focus on helping our social work- Nagarjun Learning center. Nagarjun learning center charity program supported by this homestay .
We are a family of four father Ganesh Mother Bimala Son Shreejan and daughter in law shamjhana. We don't have much but we will provide the best we can. You will be staying together with a family at their home eating the organic cooked meals of Nepal. We promise to help you the best we can on your travels in Nepal.we family are always on some social projects to help rural villager of nepal and then either the father and mother or son and daughter in law are at the homestay taking care of the guests. Ganesh is an small family based Trekking & tour operator and bimala is a retired principal/teacher of an goverment school. shreejan and shamjana are full time social workers.Nagarjun learing center our charity is focus on free education ,food ,health care in rural Nepal. In 2021 with the help of our friends & family and guests from all over the world we were able to establish an Nagarjun learing center saldum branch in saldum village ward no 4 ganga-jumuna rular muncipality. our next target is to build new learning center in christian village in ruby valley , tipling village to help more than 9000 local people with quality education ,food,health and self sustainability program.
our home stay located in quite ,safe and clean neighborhood of government employees and diplomat. you can have amazing view of nagarjun hills from home stay and beautiful sunset ,monkey temple view from rooftop..our home stay is away from crowed noisy city near nagarjun hill but still within 5 minutes walk resturants public transporation atm supermarket. There is an hindu temple build on the pagoda style on the center of neighborhood where the local go to pray every morning. In the early morning you can enjoy the moring walk from the homestay to monkey temple through the nagrjun hill enjoying the spectural view of the waking up city and devotiees praying in monkey temple. This is an neighorhood which is know for its saftey and securities with very friendly neighbors with easy acess to whole of kathmandu. From the roof top of Homestay you have an amazing view of the nagrajun hills , monastry , monkey temple and part of kathmandu city.
