Hi I'm Lou the founder of Groundswell Property in Raglan, NZ. Myself and team are fortunate to look after a selection of wonderful Raglan holiday homes, accommodating from 1 to 13 guests. Waterfront, ocean views, private bay access, centre of town, cafes on your doorstep... we have something to fit every group and every budget. We'd love to welcome and host you into one of our properties and share all that our vibrant town has to offer.
All Groundswell Properties include: Linen, towels, toiletries (shampoo, body wash, soap), tea, coffee, milk, dishwashing liquid & dishwasher powder.

Guest stays longer than 5 nights will be provided with additional bathroom linen for use during your stay.
For reservations longer than 10 days, on request, additional bed linen can be provided for you to change at your convenience. Our team will collect any dirty linen at a mutually agreed time.
All reservations include an end of stay cleaning fee. Sufficient cleaning products and equipment will be available at the property for use during your stay should you need it. We do not offer mid-stay cleaning services unless this has been pre-arranged at the time of booking and we have capacity in our cleaning schedule to book this in. All additional cleaning services including mid-stay bed making will incur additional costs.

Welcome to Calypso Cottage, the ultimate kiwi Bach experience! Located on the picturesque Greenslade Road, this vibrant and charming cottage is a true gem. Spoilt for choice, you can enjoy water views from the front or mountain views from the comfort of your own private deck out the back. A quick stroll down the path across the road will lead you right to Moonlight Bay water’s edge! Step into the past and embrace the true essence of a Kiwi beach getaway at Calypso Cottage! This charming cottage offers a delightful retreat for your family vacation. With two cozy bedrooms, a bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area, you'll have all the comforts you need. Picture yourself lounging on the spacious decks, admiring the stunning water views in the front and the scenic mountain and garden vistas in the back. Inside, the open living space boasts comfy sofas, a TV with DVDs, and bi-folding doors that leading you to the front deck. The classic 90s kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, cooktop, dishwasher, microwave, and more – perfect for cooking up a holiday feast. And don't forget the gas BBQ for effortless family meals! A cafetiere and local plunger coffee is also provided. The master bedroom offers a queen bed and access to the back deck, while the second bedroom features two single beds and its own sliding doors to the back deck and garden. The bathroom, conveniently located near the second bedroom, includes a shower, toilet, and vanity. The garage houses a washing machine to tackle any vacation laundry. The back garden has several mature fruit trees which produce lots of fruit – please help yourself during your stay. Across the road follow the public footpath down to one of Raglans hidden treasures - Moonlight bay. At high tide this makes a great swimming spot and at low tide a great place for a walk or explore.

This house has a 3pm check in time. If the house is ready earlier, we will happily message you and let you know on the day.
All linen, towels and basic amenities (soap, shampoo, tea, coffee, sugar, carton of milk) are included in your nightly rate.
For stays over seven nights, guests can request fresh linen to be delivered. This service has an additional fee.
No more than the number of guests booked, to a maximum of 4. Additional charges will apply if you exceed the number booked.
Sorry we are unable to host pets.
Calypso Cottage is located in a residential area - A noise curfew is in place between 10pm and 9am for the consideration of neighbouring properties.
Strictly no smoking indoors. If you smoke outdoors, please do so responsibly and remove butts from the property on departure.
We have a zero tolerance for unauthorised parties or events and you will be asked to vacate the property if there is reason for us to suspect guest misconduct.
A BBQ is available for use during your stay. Please clean with the appropriate supplied cleaner after use. We reserve the right to charge for additional cleaning if the BBQ is found dirty.
Rubbish - an allowance has been made for 1x full blue rubbish bag. Additional rubbish must be taken with you or dropped at a local refuse disposal station (details in house info folder).
Recycling - an allowance for 1x full recycling bin has been made per stay. Additional recycling must be taken with you or an additional charge of per box will be applied for disposal.
Electric Vehicle Charging- We are unable to accommodate electrical vehicle charging at the property, there is a fast charging station location around the town hall on Bow Street.
