"Le Riva Beachside Haven" is a 2 bedroom house with a retro "60's French Riviera vibe" located across from Castlecliff beach in Whanganui next to the rugged driftwood strewn sandy beach and around the corner from the iconic hub of Rangiora St in classic Castlecliff with it's popular Citadel Cafe. The perfect relaxing retreat to watch the sunset. South beach is patrolled by Surf Rescue in the summer. The self-catered 2 bedroom unit offers a queen size bed and two single beds all with luxury linens. The fully functional kitchen looks out beyond the flag pole to the sea. A continental breakfast is included. In the bright and comfortable lounge are some board games, a book swap and even some "fun with flags". Le Riva Beachside Haven offers free off-street parking. Whanganui airport is only 10km away, Air Chathams offer a very good service. Whanganui is about 1 hour & 40 minutes by car to the nearest ski field.

Your hosts spent many years working in the luxury yachting industry in the South of France plying the waters of the Mediterranean and at more than one opportunity, had the pleasure of driving a classic Riva along the Cote d’Azur from Monaco to St Tropez. Hence the name!

Castlecliff is an amazingly relaxed and fantastic place to live. Most places that have what we have are either so remote that while fantastic to visit, are too expensive to live at, or if you can ever afford it you've missed your best chance to enjoy it. We reckon we're lucky to get the best of all worlds where we can afford to live a beach lifestyle and play year round.
