Mill Creek Cottage is a private retreat located on the same property as our family home, sharing a driveway but offering its own private car park, deck, and lawn. The cottage has two bedrooms: one with a queen bed and another with a single bed, a king single, and an optional trundler bed. Please be aware that the cottage doesn’t have air conditioning and can get very warm in the late afternoon, a ceiling fan and tower fan are provided for your comfort. The open-plan living space includes a fully-equipped kitchen with views of The Remarkables and Coronet peak, a dining area, a cozy lounge, and a laundry cupboard with a washing machine. The loft, accessed via a ladder, serves as a cozy spot for relaxation, with yoga mats and a book exchange. The ladder requires careful supervision for children. A portacot is available upon request. For entertainment, the cottage offers a TV with Netflix, Disney Channel, and YouTube. We also have games and toys available for children. Our friendly Golden Retriever may visit and is known for being affectionate and a little needy. Our cat may also wander in to say hello, so the cottage is best suited for animal lovers. Mill Creek Cottage is perfectly situated just 500m from the Queenstown Cycle Trail, connecting you to Lake Hayes and Arrowtown via Millbrook Resort. It’s a 5-minute drive to Arrowtown, 15 minutes to Frankton, and 25 minutes to central Queenstown. Since the closest bus stop is 2km away, having your own transport is recommended.
