The Haven Sanctuary Suite is a beautifully furnished large private suite, with own private access, private ensuite and Free off road Car Park. A very spacious & modern environment with sleeping arrangements of a Queen Size Double Bed. Better than a hotel suite, so if you value being very Safe, Private, in a peaceful environment, lots of trees & bird life, while still being close to Queenstown (10 -15 min drive) this is for you. Come and go as you please through your own private entrance. Have a glass of wine and sit outside on the sun deck / patio which is surrounded by Flowering Plants, Roses, a huge Herb garden & view the lovely Mountains surrounding the peaceful environment or large mature trees that attract the native bird life. BBQ is available during the summer months to take advantage of the very long daylight evenings that the area is known for. Free Wifi, TV with free-view, games to past the time or sit back & listen to music via the portable bluetooth speaker available from your room. Full complement of Plates & Utensils, Wine & Beer Glasses as well as Cups and Mugs, Microwave, Fridge and Toaster plus a Nespresso Coffee Machine. It's relaxing, peaceful & Safe
Both Sue & Warren are self-employed professionals running their own businesses. Both work from a separate dedicated office attached to the house. Warren currently has a promotional marketing company supplying branded products to corporates throughout NZ, has a background in farming & veterinary. He also runs a new venture company called "Queenstown Private Tours" offering guests or tourists a private tour of the Southern Region. Taking people off the beaten track to places not seen by the traditional tours and highlighting areas where scenery and interesting places make fantastic interesting stories. Sue is a Professional Speaker, Executive coach & CEO of a new specialised tech start-up company operating both in NZ & Australia. She also has a farming background with a strong family heritage to a large sheep station at the southern end of Lake Wakatipu. Her family have been in the area for around 100 years. Both are keen on outdoor activities, have a taste for fine wines & food and are great story tellers. Sue has a flare for cooking, reading and gardening. They have 3 fur children. Mandela a Burmese Blue cat, Branson a Rag Doll cat & Maddy a very well behaved loved puppy
Where the property is situated makes it a very quiet and a safe area where only locals know it exists. Its position makes it unique for access to any area fast. The property is 8 minutes from the airport and only 2 to 5 minutes from three large shopping centres, all with restaurants and super markets. Fast food outlets and a laundry are only 5 minutes away. Arrowtown is only 10 minutes away. It's 10 to 15 minutes to the Township where there are around 175 restaurants, adventure attractions and wineries. Great mountain views. 10 minutes from the base road to the Remarkables Ski field and Coronet Peak Ski Field. An hour from Cardrona ski field and 45 minutes drive from Wanaka. This is an ideal place for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. Very quiet and an ideal place to relax. Surrounded by mature trees and lots of native bird life. Walking & biking tracks around the Shotover River or around the lakes start just down the road. 150 kms of off road tracks surround the area for walking & biking We can guide you to fantastic economic restaurants, wineries, adventure rides and offer local discounts. If required we can pick you up at the airport just let us know.
