Hi I'm Lou the founder of Groundswell Property in Raglan, NZ. Myself and team are fortunate to look after a selection of wonderful Raglan holiday homes, accommodating from 1 to 13 guests. Waterfront, ocean views, private bay access, centre of town, cafes on your doorstep... we have something to fit every group and every budget. We'd love to welcome and host you into one of our properties and share all that our vibrant town has to offer.
All Groundswell Properties include: Linen, towels, toiletries (shampoo, body wash, soap), tea, coffee, milk, dishwashing liquid & dishwasher powder.

Guest stays longer than 5 nights will be provided with additional bathroom linen for use during your stay.
For reservations longer than 10 days, on request, additional bed linen can be provided for you to change at your convenience. Our team will collect any dirty linen at a mutually agreed time.
All reservations include an end of stay cleaning fee. Sufficient cleaning products and equipment will be available at the property for use during your stay should you need it. We do not offer mid-stay cleaning services unless this has been pre-arranged at the time of booking and we have capacity in our cleaning schedule to book this in. All additional cleaning services including mid-stay bed making will incur additional costs.

Sunshine Rise is a two-storey, 3 bedroom,2 bathroom property that can comfortably sleep 7 guests. With it's unique layout with a fully self-contained unit under the main house, it is perfect for extended families or groups travelling together.
Upstairs in the main house you will find 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room and bathroom. Downstairs is a self-contained unit with the third bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room and its own outdoor area. This unit is access via an external staircase only.
The north-facing location allows natural light to stream through the entire house for a bright, welcoming ambience and enhances the soft coastal palette. Both upstairs and downstairs benefit from fantastic in-door, outdoor flow and enjoy equally superb outdoor entertaining areas with priceless views.
You’ll find 2 bedrooms upstairs: Bedroom 1 is furnished with a Super King bed and Bedroom 2 has a Bunk Bed set with a double underneath and single on top. The third bedroom in the downstairs unit has a Queen bed. The perfect night’s sleep is guaranteed with superior mattresses and high-quality, soft bed linens. Both levels have their own modern bathrooms. Upstairs with a shower only and downstairs has a shower over the bath.

There are also two fully equipped kitchens to choose from, both with access to outdoor entertaining areas. You’ll find everything you could need to whip up a yummy brunch to kickstart the day’s adventures. Or enjoy a classic Kiwi barbie while soaking up the stunning sunsets.
Two relaxing living rooms complete the flexible layout. Both have smart TVs, and heat pumps to make your stay as comfortable as possible. And there’s a separate laundry with a washer for easy holiday living.
One of the highlights is the stunning harbour views that will take your breath away. Relax on the upstairs or downstairs deck with a good book and a steaming mug of coffee.
Meander down the totally private walkway through native bush to Lorenzen Bay. Take advantage of the easy access to a paddle, kayak or simply splashing around in Bay. And then enjoy a relaxed picnic in the shaded area next to the boatshed.
-Please note that the downstairs unit with the third bedroom is accessed via an external walkway and steps only. There is no internal access between the 2 floors.
- The property dates back to the 1950's - it has been renovated since with modern bathrooms and kitchen and is well maintained but does have quirks due to the age of the property.
-The house is located down a long driveway and has off street parking for two cars only. If you have more than two vehicles, please let us know so we can advise you of the best parking location.
-All linen, towels and basic amenities (soap, shampoo, conditioner, tea, coffee, carton of milk) are included in your nightly rate.
Electric Vehicle Charging- We are unable to accommodate electrical vehicle charging at the property, there is a fast charging station location around the town hall on Bow Street.
