Offering a garden and garden view, Tekoa Lodge Raurimu is located in Raurimu, 20 km from Mount Ruapehu and 21 km from Taranaki Falls. The chalet is 27 km from Whakapapa. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The 5-bedroom chalet is equipped with a living room with a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and oven, and 2 bathrooms with walk-in shower. Our Holiday home/ Lodge is set in a special unique location surrounded by native bush and ferns .A peaceful completely unspoiled private secluded spot amongst so much natural beauty and ambience. Native birds Bellbirds, Tui's, Wood Pigeons, Quail, and Kiwis are close in the bush surrounding the Lodge.The home is on two levels, spacious and warm- insulated .Has a very efficient wood burner, firewood is provided. drying room for wet / ski gear. 55 ins TV, sport,net Flics unlimited wifi data. The lodge is generally self check in and self check out Location and access details will be sent to arriving guests well in advance of the arrival date.
The lodge is larger than average and when you are a guest at Tekoa Lodge you will have exclusive access to all of the house apart from two small dry storage areas. Bedding Linen and towels are provided. Extra blankets /throws, (if needed ) are also supplied. The lodge is set up with a full kitchen for self catering and with open plan living it is spacious so there is heaps of room even for larger groups of people with an extra large lounge area that is well set up for all to relax in. The large living lounge area is an outstanding feature of this place Has two showers ( one shower is a wet floor walk in ) and it also has three toilets .There is unlimited hot water supply from newly installed LPG water heating system.There is also large lawn / garden areas around the Lodge to enjoy .We have our own bush walking track on the property to the unspoiled snow fed river in the valley just 250 metres below the Lodge. Talk to us about our special four night / weekly rates some ( conditions apply ) ---We really do enjoy making our special place available to our guests to also enjoy and will do anything we can to make your stay an enjoyable one.
This property is set on a privately owned 3.5Ha property between Raurimu and National Park on SH.4. It has Easy drive on access and plenty of free parking. Set in a special unique location surrounded by native bush and ferns, it is a peaceful completely unspoiled private secluded spot amongst so much natural beauty and ambience. Native birds Bellbirds, Tui's, Wood Pigeons, Quail, and Kiwis are close in the bush surrounding the Lodge. We have our own bush walk track on the property to the unspoiled snow fed river just 200 metres from the Lodge. The lodge is only 6 mins drive to park and ride at the National Park --park and ride connections to the Tongaririo Crossing traverse crossing.,and to ski fields. Has also a well stocked Four Square store and plenty of Cafes and Restaurants. Whakapapa ski Field is but 18 Minutes drive away Handy to all else that is going on in the area, plenty of out door adventures activites are on offer, walking tracks, rafting at Owhanga , cycle trails. quad bike adventures and all of the great out doors right at your door step.
