The Woodsman's Den is a 2 bedroom guesthouse set in your own private corner of our 10 acre property. An amazingly secluded haven that looks out on lush native forest. Wake up to the cacophony of birdsong, fresh mountain air and a sense of well-being. The surrounding area sits nestled amongst the mountains and has an array of outdoor activities on offer. Or how about snuggling by the fire with a book, soaking in the hot tub or wandering down the road to one of the local eateries. The Woodsman's Den also offers organic free-range eggs and fresh seasonal vegetables all grown on site!
Nick, Anna and their son Max, run The Woodsman's Den. They are passionate about the St Arnaud, Nelson Lakes region and would love to help you discover it's magic. They have a great love for the outdoors, fishing, hunting, gardening, sustainable living, wildlife, family and friends.
St Arnaud Village sits nestled amongst the mountains, as a gateway to not only Nelson Lakes National Park, but also Mt Richmond State Forest Park, Big Bush Reserve and Kahurangi National Park. Bird-watching, tramping, hunting, fly-fishing, mountain biking, skiing; it's all here!
