Featuring a private beach area, water sports facilities, and a terrace, Akwaba Lodge provides accommodation in The Gap with free WiFi and sea views. The family-friendly restaurant serves African and American dishes, as well as Cajun Creole and Caribbean cuisine. At the bed and breakfast, units have a desk. All units include a private bathroom equipped with a shower and a hair dryer, while some rooms will provide you with a fully equipped kitchen fitted with an oven. At the bed and breakfast, the units are equipped with bed linen and towels. The breakfast offers continental, vegetarian or vegan options. There is a coffee shop and bar. Guests at the bed and breakfast will be able to enjoy activities in and around The Gap, like canoeing and hiking. After a day of snorkelling, diving or fishing, guests can relax in the shared lounge area.

JC lived for many years in Ivory Coast, a country that deeply impacted him. Akwaba means "welcome" or rather "Good arrival" in the language of Ivory Coast.
