Sonho da baia has been refurbished and offers brand-new facilities and top-of-the-range bedding. It is located on garden level + 1st floor, with direct access to the residence's garden and large swimming pool.
On the ground floor (overlooking the pool and the bay) you'll find :
- A living room with new sofa bed, top-of-the-range mattress (bed 140 x 190), wifi, TV with many channels in all languages, and a large 6/8-seat dining table.
- A modern, fully-equipped kitchen with washing machine, fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, 4 gas rings, dishwasher, espresso coffee machine, electric kettle, food processor, toaster, juicer, and all the crockery and utensils needed for cooking enthusiasts.
- A veranda overlooking the garden with a lovely view of the bay.
- A bathroom with shower, washbasin and WC.
First floor:
- A large balcony runs between the two bedrooms, a plus for smokers (the house is non-smoking inside). It's equipped with a table for 4, a clothes rack, and the icing on the cake: a breathtaking view of the bay of São Martinho do Porto...
- Two comfortable bedrooms with new, top-of-the-range mattresses and large closets:
Bedroom 1: Queensize double bed 160 x 200 + TV + work desk
Bedroom 2: two single beds 90 x 200 + third single extra bed 90 x 200 (pull-out bed)
- Bathroom with bath, washbasin and WC

This dream became reality with “Casa na Onda”, a project we decided to launch because we both loved people, encounters and the beauty of life.
After years of working for large companies, we already had a taste for work well done and a passion for satisfying our customers. So we decided to put them to work for our guests.
We didn't want to create “houses for tourists”, but to open the door to our own home, so to speak, every time...
Each place has been carefully imagined.
We've tried to anticipate every detail to make you feel at home.
In Portuguese, “onda” means “wave”, but “estar na onda” (literally “to be in the wave”) means “to be cool, to feel good”...
And that was our aim: to create the ideal setting for your vacation, a cosy, comfortable, refined nest, where everything has been thought of for your well-being.
We simply hope that you'll feel at home here for a unique vacation.
Portugal's Silver Coast runs along the Atlantic coast for 280 km, stretching roughly from the town of Espinho, 30 km south of Porto, to the town of Peniche, some 100 km north of Lisbon. This magnificent region is full of contrasts. It's full of charming, authentic villages, wild seashores and historic Unesco World Heritage sites.
From our Casas na onda in Nazaré and São Martinho do Porto, you can travel the length and breadth of the Silver Coast and discover many of Portugal's major tourist attractions. If you're a history buff, the region's rich cultural heritage will delight you, from the monastery of Batalha and Alcobaca to the walled city of Obidos and the Convent of Christ in Tomar, not forgetting one of Europe's oldest universities in Coimbra and its famous library.
If you prefer beaches or water sports, the immense sandy Praia da Nazaré beach, with lifeguard surveillance in all seasons, is just a few steps from our Casas na onda Liberdade, Elevador and Subvila. This long beach stretches below the cliffs, inviting you to relax, swim, do water sports or go out to sea to admire the dolphins. Further north, behind the Nazaré lighthouse, lies the famous Praia do Norte (where you can admire the giant waves from October to February, and which is also a world-famous surfing spot).
Just 15 minutes from Nazaré, our Casa na Onda Sonho da Baia overlooks the bay and the quiet, family-friendly beach of São Martinho do Porto. Its protected bay, forming a perfect oval of shells, and its sheltered location make it one of the safest beaches on the coast for swimming and water sports.
A whole wild and secret coastline awaits you: Praia da Gralha, Praia do Salgado, and other hidden treasures, where you can hike, paraglide, quad bike, mountain bike, or just swim.
