Kastel Mariette is located in the village of Susara, City of Vrsac, Vojvodina Province, Serbia, in the heart of the Deliblato Sands Special Nature Reserve. Tranquil village Susara is an ideal place for an active vacation in the countryside. The village with sands shares intoxicating beauty and clean air, but has its own excellent drinking water. They say that one who drinks water from Susara once, returns here forever. The water is especially potable because it comes from great depths beneath the sand dunes. Staying in the luxurious ambiance of the Banat country house, enriched with a great collection of art paintings and objects, is an unforgettable experience and an invitation to a kind of artistic journey. In Kastel Mariette, upstairs bedrooms are nicely decorated, bright, each with a bathroom. The large lounge, dining room, porch and downstairs kitchen are common areas for guests. These are also rooms for seminars, celebrations and presentations. The yard is a free space for outdoor gatherings.

Deliblato Sands Special Nature Reserve - (about 300 square km between the Danube and the slopes of the Carpathians) is a unique geomorphological phenomenon. Deliblato has particularly pronounced dunes and interstitial depressions, with diverse ecosystems - sandstone, meadow-steppe, forest-steppe, forest, ramsar, which have contributed to the rich variety of flora and fauna. It is known for its clean and healthy air. The special appearance of the steppe area is given by saffron, corn, thyme, mulberry grass, violets, irises, wild hyacinth, lily of the valley, Banat peony, juniper, hawthorn, calluses, yellows, rust, and acacia, pine, linden and oak forests. Pheasants, wild boars, wolves, jackals, feral cats, quails and deer are found here. Specifically protected bird species in the sands are the white-tailed eagle, the Banat falcon, the crusader eagle, the bee-bird.
There are trails for walking or biking leading to the parts of the park of special beauty (Zagajica hills, Dumaca, Korna, Swan's pane).
Nearby are the Karas and Nera rivers, the Canal Danube Tisa Danube, prehistoric site in Dupljaja, the baroque town of Vrsac and Bela Crkva with seven beautiful lakes.
