-KVARNSTUGAN- Kvarnstugan means so much as the windmills hut. But in real it is a family house located next to windmill of Mollösund Here, on top of the hill, you have a view of Mollösund, Mollön and the mussel cultivations in the Stigfjord waters between Orust and Tjörn. It is a detached house with 2 independent units, where two families could easily live independently, both haveall facilities of a bathroom, kitchen, living room and two bedrooms. -KVARNSTUGAN- Kvarnstugan means so much as the windmills hut. But in real it is a family house located next to windmill of Mollösund Here, on top of the hill, you have a view of Mollösund, Mollön and the mussel cultivations in the Stigfjord waters between Orust and Tjörn. The house is bright, charming and tastefully decorated, has a large terrace and a beautiful natural garden from which you can take spices and herbs. The terrace is built around the house, facing south and southwest direction. This guarantees a breakfast in the morning sun as well as beautiful sunsets in every season throughout the year.
About us: Marcel & Johan: service minded nature lovers, flexible hosts who love taking care of people, good cooking and relaxing outdoor moments along Sweden's west-coast. Running an accommodation on Orust called Lådfabriken. Very well organized, smart and sensitive. We love our friends and family and like them to come over as often as possible. We love our dogs, creative design, colors and photography for which nature in Bohuslän offers sublime themes.
-MOLLÖSUND- Mollösund is a picturesque fishing village in the southwest part of the island of Orust. It lies in the heart of Bohuslän, West-Swedens coastal area with countless islands in its archipelago. The small village is popular with Swedish summer guests and the residents, it is one of the real remaining fishing communities. In the summer period it is a very lively village with (sailing) boats, restaurants and beautiful bathing and aquatic opportunities. In spring, autumn and winter, you can enjoy the tranquility of beautiful walks and cosiness in Kvarnstugan. In Mollösund there is a grocery store, restaurants, and in the summer around the harbor, a pizzeria, fishing spots, terraces and small shops to stroll.The house is located in a quiet area with bathrobe distance to a beautiful small bathing area with a sandy beach and jetties, Tornviksbadet. Or 800 meters walking. If you want to make day trips for the kids you may want to go to Kungälv to Barnens Lekstad and the fortress, to Nordens Ark in Hunnebostrand (special Zoo), closer to home there are the beehives in Tegneby or Havets Hus in Lysekil (all about sea life) and the possibility to make a batter to the seals
