8 comfortable beds divided in 6 different rooms. Approx. 1 km to the popular beach Hammarsbadet and about the same to Gamleby Centrum with well assorted supermarket. Top floor with bathroom and washing machine, downstairs an additional separate WC and also a separate shower. Outside, you find a large garden - made for summer activities! Bed linen and towels are not included in the rental fee, but can be provided at a cost of 120 SEK per person. Please let us know before arrival if you wish for us to arrange this and payment will be upon arrival.

Hi, my name is Pia and I will be your host during your stay att "Villa Lavendel". I live approx. 1 km away from "your" house, and if there is anything you need help with, or if you have any questions - don´t hesitate to call or text. Also - down by the harbour of Gamleby, we have rentals for smaller motorboats and sailing boats from one day and up.

The house is located in a quiet residential area with very little traffic. It is approx. 1 km to the "Hammarsbadet" with beach, bathing bridges, and a tower to jump into the water from (3-10 meters!). At Hammarsbadet you also find an ice cream parlor/restaurant in the Summer. From the house it is also apporx. 1 km to the Gamleby Centrum, where you find a well assorted grocery store and the "Systembolaget" for wine and spirits. Before reaching the Gamleby Centrum, you will pass the newly built playground "The Viking ship" and a multisport arena for different ball sports. I want to recommend you a visit to the "Lilla Lekstugan" which is a surprisingly well assorted toy store in Gamleby! Also - a must during a stay in Gamleby is to visit the "Path of the Trolls" which starts at the Parkinglot by Gamleby Folkets Park at Loftavägen. Once you reach the end of "Trollstigen" as the path is called in Swedish - you will have a great view of the Gamlebyviken - so do bring a nice picnic!
