I was born and raised in this village of the Akha people. In addition to preserving our culture, I support our community. I have helped build a water system, a community park, and sponsored programs to improve the roads.

I have built this property by myself for the past 8 years, according to ECOTOURISM criteria's. I created this property to be SUSTAINABLE, RESPECTFUL of the environment and a REAL link BETWEEN the AKHA CULTURE and tourists who want to meet us. All that in a REAL Beautiful & Natural environment. I am part of the Akha Hill Tribe People and I use this property to preserve and share our culture. I have built the mud huts with unique designs using bamboo, rice straw, rice husk and recycled bottles. I offer programs to teach about Akha way of living. Everyday there will be different activities offered, for example jungle treks, Akha cooking, catching fish your bare hands, and bamboo cooking.

There is temple located at the summit of Doi Mae Salong, which is 3,950-ft (1200-m) in elevation. It has spectacular views of the surrounding rolling hills, which are dotted with hill-tribe villages. Akha and Mien Villagers can be seen at the market in Mae Salong. There is also a very beautiful tea plantation with many different types of tea. The village is within one hour drive of Doi Tung, the Mae Sai border of Thailand and Myanmar, and the Golden Triangle.
