The Shire Apartment is conveniently located in the heart of Delhi. With 2 bedrooms, a sleeper sofa and 1 bathroom this apartment comfortably sleeps up to 6. Conveniently located in walking distance to restaurants and convenience, minutes from SUNY Delhi, The College Golf Course, wedding venues and area attractions. This apartment is directly over O'Neill's Shire Pub which serves fine food and sturdy drinks, and is the only apartment in the building. Pets considered for additional fee. Window AC units are installed June - August. The Shire Apartment has ample parking in the back of the building. A flight of stairs brings you to the apartment door and another flight of stairs to the private foyer. The apartment has been newly renovated with all new furnishings and appliances. Every detail has been covered to make sure that you entire visit is comfortable and enjoyable. The Shire Apartment is directly over O'Neill's Shire Pub. A favorite with locals and vacationers alike, The Shire is an iconic and cherished hub of the community. A dining room in the back has a cozy fireplace for the winter and an outdoor dining area for the warmer months. They serve everything from classic Irish dishes like Bangers and Mash to traditional pub fare like burgers and wings. The front of the pub has a full bar, pool table, dart board and there you can enjoy Trivia Night, Karaoke Night, live bands and other events. Generally noise level is kept to a minimum but there may be residual noise coming up every now and then if there is a live band. Hours are Sunday - Thursday 11:30-9AM, Friday and Saturday 11:30AM - midnight. The apartment is located in the heart of Delhi, just next to the Delhi Village Square which has a weekly Farmers Market Spring through Fall on Wednesdays, Fair on the Square every Friday in July and other events throughout the year. Within walking distance you will find popular area restaurants, cafe's and shops.

Nearby towns include Hobart, Cooperstown, Oneonta, Margaretville, Arkville, Andes, Bovina Center, Pine Hill and Woodstock. This is a true 4 season area. In the winter ski or snowboard at Belleayre Ski Center (33 miles), Plattekill Mountain (26 miles), Hunter Mountain (50 miles) and Windham (44 miles). Spring is fishing season and there are plenty of public fishing streams and lakes in the area for a sportsman. Watch nature come back to life as the tree's and flowers begin to blossom.
