At Lazy Cub Lodge, it’s easy to relish the beautiful Smoky Mountain setting. The three-bedroom, three-bathroom cabin has a large deck looking out toward the mountains, a sunroom furnished with plenty of comfortable seating and a large yard replete with a swing. Don’t be fooled by the quiet, bucolic surroundings, though, the lodge is also just a 10-minute drive to the Pigeon Forge Parkway, home to dinner theaters, attractions and restaurants galore. The dining area is part of the great room. At least six people can sit at the table, and an adjacent counter can accommodate several more. You can dine outdoors too! The deck includes a picnic table. There’s a gas grill outside too, so you can cook as well as dine alfresco. Of course, Lazy Cub Lodge has a kitchen too, equipped with a full array of appliances, cookware and tableware. Even if you eat your meals at the numerous nearby restaurants, you’ll love the convenience of having a refrigerator to keep wine and juice boxes cold and the ability to brew a cup of coffee or make popcorn whenever you want—it’s one of the many advantages of staying in a cabin rather than a hotel.
