I have been a resident of Ladysmith for the past 30 years.After matriculating in Ladysmith I spent 6 years in Bloemfontein at UOFS .i have been in the residential propperty industry for the past 18 years and still love the people and the exitement of selling.Traveling is one of my passions because the more you travel , the more you get to know yourself.My intrests are verry diverse but include impressionist art,renovating propperty ,cooking and reading. I lead a verry active lifestyl and I love swimming , horse riding , scuba diving,cycling, hiking ,walking my Labradors , gardening and playing chess.
Property information
Over the last few years our team has strived to cater to guests needs by constantly asking for their feedback, therefor we have three inside rooms and seven outside rooms. Al rooms also offer outside seating to guests for their relaxation.Al though we are walking distance from the CBD the setting is tranqual and peacefull , once inside.The decor is oldworld chick with well loved antiques .The fire is lit in colder weather in the dining room for breakfast as well as dinners.The garden seating througout offers private spaces to contemplate or read one of the books available to guests.As South Africans we also encourage our guests to braai and there is a few options available.We try to attract birds to our garden with different types of plants as well as feeding stations.We also have a resident ex-ferral cat, Kelly ,who loves to interact with the guests.
Neighbourhood information
Convent hill lodge is situated 40 meters from La Verna private hospital which is part of the Len Med group.We are accros the road from Ladysmith High School.Convent road boasts two schools as well as a cresch. A hair salon , spa , bridal boutiqe and Ampath pathology rooms are all walking distance.For golfers we have a well maintained gollf course and lively clubhouse.There are two shopping Malls in town and many interesting shops to brows through.Les than 25 km. away is Nambithi conservancy which boasts 5 star lodges as well as the big five.The central Drakensberg is a popular day visit from Ladysmith.At the BnB we go for a walk at five in the morning and guests are welcome to join
