Gardening is top of the list for relaxation for the owners of Glen Ormond. A recent addition on the property is a formal veggie patch in which we hope to practice organic growing habits and ultimately use the produce in our meal preparation. Our resident 3 dogs, Jax, Jess and Bean are a pure delight, and if you don't mind dogs they will be sure to visit you often. Our kitty SarahDippety, can often be seen mooching around the gardens.

An easy one-hour drive from Durban and four and a half hours on the N3 highway from Johannesburg, there is much to explore and do in the Midlands. Buy a new handbag and show off your purchases at the local brewery while sampling mugs of local beer, shop till you drop and eat to your heart’s content. Midmar Dam is a 35-minute drive away and offers sailing, water-skiing and board sailing, pleasure cruises and game viewing.
