Glenda's Guest Suites a cut above the regular guest house or Bed & Breakfast. Boasting full solar and generator back up power and emergency water supplies, we strive to exceed our customers expectations in every way we possibly can. We have 11 unique rooms each with its own distinct African look, feel and decor. We can host 11 singles and up to 45 people on a sharing basis, turning larger rooms into luxurious dorm style rooms ideal for touring sports sides and large groups. Rooms are well equipped and well appointed and have all the necessary supplies to be fully self catering, including fridges and microwaves and all have en suite bathrooms with either bath or shower or both. Our property is a haven of peace and tranquility and yet close to all the highways and shopping centres in the Midrand area. Guests will often tell us that we are Midrand's best kept secret and that staying here makes them feel like they are relaxing in the African bush. In times when many accommodation venues take extras away, we add to our extras. Expect to find a welcome chocolate on your bed, a little glass of sherry, home baked rusks, teas, coffees and fresh milk, all your bath and shower amenities including dental floss, free high speed WiFi, Netflix, free secure parking, a pool and a gorgeous garden full of birds. Our catering is superb and we have been told we offer the best breakfast in town. We provide a well stocked cold buffet and an al a carte menu for the hot food. Only the freshest and best quality products are used. We can provide take away packs for those that need to leave early, but we do open the dining room earlier than most venues for breakfast. We offer dinners and deserts on request and can also do lunches or lunch packs. Home baked cakes and pastries are a specialty and all our meals are cooked on site. We can cater for or order in catering for just about all dietary requirements. Try us !
I, Glenda have been running this business for over 17 years. When they say the lifespan of a guest house owner is usually 5 years in the industry, I have far exceeded my 'sell by' date and still loving it. My team and I are passionate about hospitality and we will always work extra hard to please our clients. I have many years experience in the restaurant trade, where I learned a lot of what I currently use in the catering side of the business. I am an artist by nature and thus decorating my rooms and making my venue look pretty has been the real fun part of the business. My team has all been with me for many, many years and all share the same passion for hospitality. All are skilled and highly competent and understand the relationship between customer service and the success of the business. Our clients will often tell us that there is a unique and special atmosphere at our venue, and I'd like to think its our desire to please our clients that sets us apart. Our motto is, "May all who arrive as guests, leave as friends" and that kind of sums us all up :) We are ready to welcome you.
Beaulieu is a secured estate and one of the safest and most peaceful areas to live. A fully fenced, secured and patrolled gated community with security of the best and most efficient standard. Guests can sleep at night knowing they are safe and secure and well looked after. They can run, walk or cycle on our roads without fear and enjoy the serenity of the suburb. At night you will be the night life of birds, bull frogs and other creatures, but you will not hear cars and trucks. If you are looking for the ultimate in a stress free, calm and quiet area, then this venue is for you. The best part is that you are 15 mins from the N1 highway linking Pretoria in the North to Johannesburg in the south and we are equidistant to both cities. We are also 45 minutes to ORT in the East and Lanseria in the West, so we really are in the middle of everything. If it's shops you are wanting we have several small malls within 10 mins drive and the giant Mall of Africa is a 20 min drive. Thus we are spoilt for restaurant choices and on the delivery route of many take away outlets. We are closest guest house to Kyalami Race Track and host many exhibitors and visitors to exhibitions and races. Monte Casino is 20 mins to the South West and we an easy drive to Fourways, Lonehill, Midrand City and Centurion. We are a popular spot for golfers being 10 mins from Kyalami Golf club and within easy driving distance of some of the countries best golf courses. We are also perfectly situated for many of the business or corporate parks in Kyalami such as Kyalami Business Park and Corporate Park and a good 70% of our cliental are corporates / business clients working or visiting in the area. Beaulieu is a rare gem of an area and offers the perfect spot to unwind after a busy day
