Honeymoon Cottage sleeps 2, with its own entrance, open plan double bedroom, full bathroom, lounge area with fireplace, kitchenette (microwave, electric wok, health grill), and patio. (R1000 /night) The house is on a shared property with the main house being De Oude Kasteel which you can get in contact with me for larger group bookings. The garden consists of lemon trees, lavender, and roses. If you feel like going out, well, you are within short walking distance from the village centre, full of trendy shops, wineries, breweries, and galleries as well as world-class restaurants. The village itself is the historic village of Riebeek Kasteel set at the foot of the Kasteelberg mountain amongst olive groves, vineyards, and farmlands in a myriad of ever-changing colours. Because of it's Mediterranean climate with mild and pleasant winters the Valley is ideal to visit at any time of the year. Visitors can enjoy game drives on nearby farms and nature reserves, an abundance of bird life, hiking, mountain biking, and various other activities. If you are simply looking for good food and wine you have come to the right place. Excellent wineries and a great choice of restaurants to suit all palates. More recently Riebeek Kasteel has become a cultural hub with a fantastic outdoor amphitheatre and live music in many venues.
