Waterblom in Pringle is a newly renovated, sea-front house in the charming seaside village of Pringle Bay. Accommodation is offered in two independent, self-catering units, namely Suikerbos and Kleinblom. With the rugged, rocky coastline 70m walk from the doorstep, guests are guaranteed to enjoy sunset views. Situated at the end of a cul-de-sac on Pringle Bay's peninsula, Waterblom in Pringle is a great choice for guests visiting the scenic coastal town surrounded by the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve. Suikerbos, the first floor, deluxe unit, can accommodate 2 guests. The open-plan design offers guests spectacular sea and mountain views. The studio has two twin beds that can be prepared together or separately and has an en suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. The brand new kitchen is fully equipped with a 4-plate gas hob and electrical oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, Nespresso machine, fridge-freezer, cutlery, and crockery, as well as a dishwasher. Meals can be enjoyed at the dining table. There is a dedicated working space and a flat screen, smart TV with Netflix. Kleinblom, the ground floor unit, can also accommodate 2 guests with a queen-size bed and an en suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. Kleinblom has a brand new kitchen equipped with a 4-plate gas hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, Nespresso and fridge/freezer. Basic crockery and cutlery are supplied. Linen and bath towels are provided, but guests please need to bring their own beach towels. On-site facilities include unlimited wifi and braai facilities. Upon request, pets can be accommodated a Kleinblom. Please note that the property is unfenced. Pringle Bay boasts stunning snorkeling and diving, beautiful hiking and biking routes and great surfing and fishing spots. It is also home to a number of restaurants and curio shops. Waterblom in Pringle is ideally located to explore the Boland and Overberg regions.

Waterblom in Pringle is our family home. The name Waterblommetjies (direct translation being "little water flower") is a traditional Cape winter stew. The first foundations of Waterblom as a small, traditional fisherman's cottage was laid in 1977 but over the years our parents developed the house - If only she can share her stories. You can see the photos in Kleinblom. In 2023, we did a major renovation changing from a thatched roof to today's modern design. I work in India but our neighbour will be available if you require any assistance. We always say, "Pringle is where the angels play" and we love to share this special place with you.

At Waterblom in Pringle you can simply let the sea, sun and wind wash away your daily stress. If you love nature, walking, exploring, bird watching, Fynbos, being surrounded by mountains and the dramatic waves crashing on the rocky coastline, come to Pringle. The little seaside village of Pringle Bay is one of the towns set within the natural beauty of the Kogelberg Biosphere, the only reserve in South Africa to be proclaimed by UNESCO, which supports over 1600 species of fynbos, 150 of which are endemic. The charming village is nestled at the foot of the Hangklip Mountain, which marks the south-eastern point of False Bay. The pristine, white beach is a short drive or leisurely walk away. The beach is dog friendly and young and old love the warm and protected lagoon where the Buffels river flows into the sea. As in the rest of the village, light pollution is kept to a minimum and there are no street lights. Our neighbouring village, Betty's Bay, houses a large African penguin colony as well as the Harold Porter Nature Reserve. To enjoy what the surrounding area has to offer, a car is necessary.
