Matjiesvlei Cottages is situated in the heart of the Klein Karoo, surrounded by breathtaking mountain vistas, rugged landscapes, and the serene beauty of nature. We have 3 cottages to choose from. The Bokwagtershuis, Middelplaas and Die Stalle Cottages embrace a blend of rustic charm with modern comforts. The cottages are fully equipped for self-catering, offering everything you need for a comfortable stay. Each cottage is equipped with towels, linen, dishwasher, oven, microwave and toaster, indoor braai and outdoor firepit and terrace with outdoor dining area. Things to do: - Hiking, mountain biking, birdwatching, visit old post office museum, fishing / swiming in the Gamka River at our picnic area and star gazing. We also have a small farm “dam” to swim in near Die Stalle Cottage. It is mainly used to water our olive groves. - In close proximity to Calitzdorp’s renowned wine estates and local attractions.
