A serene place to enjoy tranquillity and beauty in the peaceful coastal town of Great Brak River, situated on the Garden Route. Surrounded by the majestic Outeniqua mountains, swaths of wild fynbos, and unspoiled beaches, Serene View offers a true escape from the bustle of city life. Serene View is close to restaurants, shops, art galleries, nature trails and activities such as bird watching, fishing, swimming and many more.

Great Brak River situated close to the N2, between George and Mossel bay, is a beautiful coastal town with spectacular views of the ocean, mountains and valleys, filled with the natural beauty of fynbos. It provides ample opportunities to experience magnificent sunsets and at sunrise you might spot some bucks wandering around. Whether picnicking, walking, fishing, canoeing, swimming, surfing, windsurfing or just relaxing … the river and golden beaches are perfect for all these activities and more. Some of the most popular cycling routes can be found in this area, and the birding is spectacular. The town is well known for its lagoon and stretched out beach for long walks. A paradise for nature lovers, photographers and sun seekers. The town also offers a variety of shops, supermarkets, gift shops, art galleries, sports bar, coffee shops, restaurants, medical facilities, pharmacy, police station, fire brigade, as a matter of fact, you will find almost anything you need here. There is a Tourist Info centre in town to assist you with tourist information about activities, parks, game drives, hiking and cycling trails, sports grounds, adventures and sight seeing opportunities.
