The area is typical highveld bushveld with exceptional natural flora and fauna. The venue is around 1hr away from the Pilanesburg National Park and Suncity and is also close to both Rustenburg and Magaliesburg, which offers attractions such as shops to visit as well as places to eat and breweries. Maropeng, Sterkfontein caves and the Cradle of Humankind are located close to Magaliesburg and are approx a 45 min drive away. Rustenburg has the Canopy Tours as well a some great hiking trails such as Rustenburg Kloof and Mountain Sanctuary Park, these trails will take you into the ancient Magaliesberg mountains which are full of history and spectacular landscapes. Olifants Nek dam and Buffelspoort Dam are located close by and Hartebeespoort Dam is approx 1hr away. At Hartebeespoort dam there are many places of interest including the cableway that takes you to the top of the Magaliesberg mountains where you can take in the stunning views that this area has to offer.
