Situated in Pratteln, 4.7 km from Roman Town of Augusta Raurica, Gasthof zur Saline features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a restaurant.

This is a dreadful place, a restaurant far from anything with five tiny horrid rooms upstairs above the noise and kareoke of the restaurant. We ended up leaving and finding another hotel - we had booked paid for two single rooms and have not had a penny back in refund! Find somewhere else to stay.

Gasthof Mühle features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Aesch. This 3-star inn offers room service and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 9.3 km from Schaulager.

Although I was only spending nights (2) in the hotel and didn’t have time for breakfast I really enjoyed it. The room is spacious and very clean, the cleaning lady does a fantastic work. Hotel staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Small details like every day a fresh carafe of water, a welcome card and snacks are really lovely. There is a free parking lot for the guests in a underground garage and you can get for free (tourist travel card for trains and buses free of charge) to Basel, which takes about 20 minutes. The train station is located only few minutes from the hotel. I can highly recommend this place!

Located in Erschwil, 25 km from Schaulager, Gasthof zum weissen Rössli provides accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The property is set 27 km from St.

The owners have been extremely polite with me. I can only say I was feeling even better than at my home. I was late to checkin and they have tried to call me but I was driving a motorcycle so unable to answer and at the end £I got there on time before the checking time limit which was at 11 pm. As soon as I arrved I was asked if I wanted something to drink and I appreciated it. Breackfast included was super and of very good quality. I wasn't able to finish all what I found on my table in the morning. I also had the possibility to have eggs done as I requested, one omelette. Room as big enough just for me and the shower was big and comfortable. Perfect after a long ride in the chilly autumn in romandie.

Boasting a garden, terrace, restaurant and free WiFi, Landgasthof Farnsburg is set in Ormalingen, 19 km from Roman Town of Augusta Raurica and 28 km from Schaulager.

There was noone and I spoke to them before I booked. They didn’t send me a door code and there was noone there on the time of the approved check in time. I called them the whole day on the day of travel and they were unreachable so I had to book somewhere else. The property didn’t even react to messages a day later or the day after I also send them to get a doorcode like spoken about on the phone before I booked. Now I have to wait five days for booking.com to look into it and hopefully send my money back. I wished I had booked this via Paypal for buyer protection because this is just bullshit. Luckily the locals were really nice and helped me to get around and book somewhere else.

Great location, just a few mins walk from the train station. Room was comfortable and we enjoyed our little balcony, having dinner out there in the warm summer evening. We also took a bottle of wine up to the rooftop before dinner one night. The bed was comfy.

Great place for a pit stop. Kids loved the slide in our room. Everything clean and staff friendly. Didn’t use the kitchen facility but ordered dinner to the hotel. Perfect!

This is the perfect location, just a 5 minute walk to the Basel SBB station. The apartment was very clean, and the rooms were very comfortable. We had a lovely balcony with a table and chairs where we ate dinner and the separate rooms were nice for our group of 3.

    - Secure and convenient parking. - Very clean, comfortable and spacious room with a lovely bed. - Nice touches throughout the hotel and a well designed gym and sauna. - Delicious food - the nomad burger and pork gyozas were great for dinner and the breakfast buffet has lots of options and is really good value. Service was also excellent and staff very friendly.

We loved the architecture, the art, the ambiance. Our room was peaceful and comfortable and we loved the art work. Our dinner outside at l’Atelier was fabulous. We had a perfect buffet breakfast in your space opposite. The location was charming.

Really nice and easy room with a window to the inner yard with outside curtains. Because of the hostel a public kitchen was included and a coworking space with a cafe/restaurant. Really nice bathroom and entrance area

Good location - 2 tram stops from central train station. Spacious. Full kitchen, you can cook dinner. Bed was comfy, shower was tight but I guess that's how showers are in Europe. Price was really good, 100eur considering basel art week and the location was a good deal. Easy to find the keys, enterr the apartment directly, no contact with anyone.
