The views from our room were breath taking, dinner in the hotel very good, bed super comfortable. It was the perfect way to experience Grindenwald. Fresh fruit, local meats and cheeses!!! The dinner was very good as well and the views were phenomenal! But what tops it all was that it’s a generational family run hotel! The staff was super friendly and helpful in giving us pointers on where to go with my family (ranging from 8-73 years old!). It was convenient to have a sink in the room as well. I loved little extra touches like free apples at reception, the better than normal continental breakfast, the use of the downstairs fridge, the use of a washing machine and dryer (unfortunately I didn’t know about this) and being able to buy a salad for the supermarket and have it for dinner in the garden.
