The location is great! Loved the view from the room. The little village of Habkern is beautiful. The staff were accomodating and the breakfast was good. Would stay there again.

The location is perfect. Close to the station and the view was stunning
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
We liked the location. We liked to be "out of town" a little bit. Bus service to Grindelwald was just outside the hotel. We enjoyed the dinner we had at their restaurant and the breakfasts.
This hotel was absolutely charming. Once you get to Grindenwald, you take the Gondola half way up the mountain to this hotel. The views from our room were breath taking, dinner in the hotel very good, bed super comfortable. It was the perfect way to experience Grindenwald. Breakfast was included.
Such a great location central to everything you need for a week of exploring a Grindelwald!! The breakfast was amazing every morning! Fresh fruit, local meats and cheeses!!! The dinner was very good as well and the views were phenomenal! But what tops it all was that it’s a generational family run hotel! The family is literally there working together to run this beautiful and charming facility from Sun up to Sun down and that made us feel that much more at home!!
This hotel is located near the station - around 5min on foot and very near to the cable car to First. Also easy access to good restaurants & stores. Breakfast was a bit simple but nice. The restauants on ground floor is very nice for lunch & dinner. Rooms is clean & staffs are very kind.
Stunning location! You have the mountain to yourself once the crowds leave. No lining up for view points or food. Staff are lovely and helpful. Prices reasonable for the location, especially with dinner. Room views are unmatched.
Breakfast was exceptional and the location could not have been better. Walkable access to multiple gondolas, the train and shops/restaurants. The staff was super friendly and helpful in giving us pointers on where to go with my family (ranging from 8-73 years old!). It was convenient to have a sink in the room as well. Restaurant on site for dinner also showed the EURO cup game- bonus points!
I loved the location as it was slightly down the hill from the main centre of Grindelwald and was easy to walk to walk to the train station or a bus stop. I loved little extra touches like free apples at reception, the better than normal continental breakfast, the use of the downstairs fridge, the use of a washing machine and dryer (unfortunately I didn’t know about this) and being able to buy a salad for the supermarket and have it for dinner in the garden. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
