Room was very clean and well maintained although a little warm for our liking, but we opened the window and it was fine. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Food at both dinner and breakfast was excellent.

We have been coming to the Exmore Forrest Inn for many years and loved the unique atmosphere!!, This time we notice a big difference
the place had been modernized losing the character of the place,
We always have praised the wonderful food but alas on this visit not so good !Whats gone wrong,!!!! Raw vegies, roast beef was teasless and forget the yorkshire pudding!!....
Must do better!!, bring back the old standards for which it was known for. Sorry for being so critical but it has to be said

Dinner and breakfast was delicious, the wine at dinner was great and we had cocktails which were really good.
We p,aged cards in the snug after dinner and felt totally relaxed.
We loved everything about this Inn. We loved the quick response to our booking, our quick email reply to book dinner, the food, the staff, the facility and our room. It is a cut above anywhere else we stayed. Dinner was local fresh food and the waitress was wonderful to offer me fresh vegetables rather than the chips which I did not want. Our breakfast was beautiful with continental and also a cooked portion. Delicious.
The whole package is a 20 out of 10.
This is a very well renovated Victorian inn in a beautiful peaceful location, with friendly staff, excellent locally-farmed food, and even two EV chargers in the car park. Perfect for a relaxing break amid the scenic beauty of Exmoor.
Great welcome even though we arrived earlier than check in. Staff were all very helpful, rooms clean and comfortable and lovely lounge for relaxing with a magazine after a long walk. Delicious dinner too.
Lovely well equipped room, spacious with open aspect to front. Very quiet too. It has great location for exploring by car or on foot. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Very good food, both breakfast and dinner excellent.
Wonderful place with incredible views where you can really switch off, enjoy nature and have a nice cosy evening inside by the wood burner. The cottage was beautifully renovated with lovely rustic detail and thoughtful touches throughout to make you feel welcome. Super comfortable beds too for a good night's sleep. Zoe, the host was very responsive and helpful, and responded to all our queries very quickly. Would 100% book again. Thank you.
