IsraelGreen Mandala Inn is a lovely small hotel run by a warm and welcoming family. I stayed here twice—once before and once after my course at Kopan Monastery—and it truly felt like home away from home.
The rooms are basic but spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need. The attached restaurant is a standout feature, serving delicious, freshly prepared home-cooked meals. The food was so good that even monks and nuns from the monastery come here to eat!
The location is ideal for anyone traveling to Kopan Monastery, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere with stunning views of Kathmandu. Whether you're here for a retreat or just passing through, this is a wonderful place to stay.

CanadaWe loved the quaint alley it was on, convenience to restaurants and shops, very central. The staff were amazing, the bed and room comfortable and breakfast was delicious. The hotel is hard to get to with a vehicle but can be done early or late in the day, otherwise we just walked around the corner to get our transportation, no problem. We stayed a week and there was only one Friday night that music next door was disruptive, but all other nights were quiet.
