Andrew and his parents welcomed us as if we were part of the family, they even let us eat with them in the evening and cooked us an excellent dinner with local products. They also recommended different activities for the day and Andrew is really helpful if you need a hand with transport or to organise some activities. Breakfast is served on site and dinner is just a short drive away. Both were delicious. Our host Emily went above and beyond to make our stay better and helped us sort our Gorilla Trek the next day. You have the possibility to sit together in the inner courtyard or in the front of the motel. Breakfast and dinner were delicious for a very fair price. The owner of the place is an exceptionally nice guy who took us for a walk to the caldera (with wonderful view over the city), took us to the local market and accompanied us on a boat trip on Lake Mutanda. The owners are very friendly. Breakfast was good and served in a timely manner (dinner in the restaurant near the park entrance was also good, but I recommend using a car at least one way). The breakfast was nice and we were offered dinner in a nearby property that was also excellent. However, it’s not practical to stay here if you are climbing Mt Muhavura, because that trek starts from a different entrance, which is 40 minutes driving on very bad roads early in the morning. for all the other activities, it’s just the perfect place!Guest review byZitaYoung couple
