The room was perfect. Clean white sheets clean white towels. The bathroom needed the shower rod to be fixed. The main problem was the smell/odor. The corridors definitely had someone smoking weed. But the room had a mixed spice / food odor. It was very strong. We turned the air conditioner on and left for dinner but the smell just didn't go. I sprayed deo in the room and it subsided a bit.

This Middletown inn is 10 minutes’ walk from fishing and boating in the Connecticut River and Wesleyan University is 5 minutes’ walk away.

Expected a quaint inn, but it turned out to be a very large motel built on an industrial scale, with a very awkward parking lot in the back, making for a very circuitous entrance.
