The location was quite close to where I was visiting for business. The host May is very friendly and helpful. I even had some good conversations with her. Everything is flexible and she really cares about the guests.

Our room, 101, was perfect for our stay in Hanoi. Our room featured a lovely balcony with a view over a small street - this is more like a narrow lane receiving only motorcylcle and foot traffic. We definitely enjoyed the balcony in the morning and evening. The room also had a refrigerator, electric kettle, air conditioner, flatscreen television, bedside table, night-lite, hairdyer and a large wardrobe which you can lock. There was plenty of hot water from the electric water heater in the bathroom. This hot water even reached the sink in the bathroom, not just the shower. There was a wi-fi router outside our room; the connection was consistant and the upload/downlaod speeds were both over 100 mbs duriing our stay. The hotel staff changed the bed sheets, duvet, towels and restocked the toilet paper several times.
Hotel staff were very kind and welcoming and even provided complimentary snacks and toiletries in the room. Hoang Kien Hotel also has an excellent location just one block from the cathedral. We would absolutely stay here again.
Many thanks to the hotel staff for a wonderful stay in Hanoi!

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
The staff is very friendly, and the owners, Tommy and Doha, go out of their way to make you feel at home at their hotel. I was invited to dinner, drinks, and breakfast several times.
The hotel and the rooms are spacious and new, and attention to detail shows in the rooms,
I like the safe box and the big desk, which is a big plus.
As I said, hospitality and attention to detail are on point.
Linn was such a great host. Told us how to get to places of interested and was available on WhatsApp for further questions. We then took a tour that he arranged to Sa Pa which was incredible. Slept so well and room was very quiet.
Mr Linn and his staff made it a warm welcome from the beginning. He helped organize a trip for us to ha long bay and gave us great recommendations for food, tours and museums. The location is fantastic and very central to the old quarter which was absolutely perfect for us, the breakfast was great and the rooms were of good size and clean.
All the staff in this hotel, such as manager Mr Linn and Rose at the reception, are extremely friendly and helpful, always available to meet our need. Mr Linn provided very valuable recommendations on how to move around Hanoi, and he booked the food tour with a very sharp and smart guy, and the tour turned out to be an amazing experience for us. The hotel location is fantastic, situated in the heart of the historical district.
The staff was very helpful and went out of bounds to make the stay comfortable. Mr. Linn was very helpful and made sure all the requirements were fulfilled.
The staff was extraordinary. They can speak english on a professional level. Everything is exactly as you'd expect from a top of the line hotel. I'll definitely return here. We even got a parting gift from one of the staff when we left. The hotel is also very new as of 2024. The dinner was very good. We had a steak in peppersauce. Luxurious!
Excellent hotel, the room was clean and the place overall was super clean. Breakfast everyday is different and delicious. The staff is amazing, Rose and Linn are super host, and the rest of the staff isn't far behind, probably some of the nicest staff I've ever encountered at a hotel.
Amazing as always!
+ A quaint and authentic inn.
The hosts are wonderful, happy to help, give advice and will answer any questions.
The room itself is simple but well equipped for comfort and you stay in one of the main old streets (1 minute walk to the night market) but in a small alley which makes the area quiet.
I am a Belgian rather demanding pensioner. This guest house is located in a old house that like many others in Hanoi managed to survive the massive US bombings, full of secrets for sure and located in a very pleasant area. The manager will help you efficiently in every respect. Excellent value for money.
