Landgasthof Hirschen er staðsett í Diegten, rétt hjá A2-hraðbrautinni og í hálftíma akstursfjarlægð frá miðbæ Basel en það býður upp á à-la-carte veitingastað.

Landgasthof Farnsburg er staðsett í Ormalingen, 19 km frá rómverska bænum Augusta Raurica og 28 km frá Schaulager. Gististaðurinn státar af garði, verönd, veitingastað og ókeypis WiFi. There was noone and I spoke to them before I booked. They didn’t send me a door code and there was noone there on the time of the approved check in time. I called them the whole day on the day of travel and they were unreachable so I had to book somewhere else. The property didn’t even react to messages a day later or the day after I also send them to get a doorcode like spoken about on the phone before I booked. Now I have to wait five days for booking.com to look into it and hopefully send my money back. I wished I had booked this via Paypal for buyer protection because this is just bullshit. Luckily the locals were really nice and helped me to get around and book somewhere else.

Gasthof zur Saline er staðsett í Pratteln, 3,6 km frá rómverska bænum Augusta Raurica og býður upp á gistirými með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði og veitingastað. Lovely staff, lovely place. I chose it because it was the cheapest option with a private bathroom I could find in Pratteln - turns out it was a good choice. The lady at the check in was very nice and helpful. The place is beautiful, with gorgeous flowers at the windows outside. The hallway going to the room looks pretty and cozy. The room was wonderful - clean, practical and tastefully decorated. There's a safe deposit box, a mini fridge if you need to store fruit or something, a cosmetic mirror in the bathroom. The WiFi was excellent and you had the possibility to charge your devices via USB or power outlet right next to the bed. There's a busy street outside, but the window does a good job of keeping the noise out when you close it. It's pretty close to the Z7, which is very convenient if you want to see a concert there. Pretty close to a couple of stores. There's also some kind of chocolate factory nearby, so the air in the area smells like chocolate at times (tip: there's nice chocolate at a very good price to be found at the factory store). Maybe not the best location for other purposes like sightseeing though.
