Remote location with the amazing road leading to it is a plus. The Inn is beautiful. Rooms are on a smaller size but super comfortable and nicely decorated. Super clean too! The remoteness of the place is fantastic. Hosts are SUPER nice!!! And the food!!! The BEST we have had during the entire trip to the Highlands!!!!

Changes required to property description as follows: On the banks of Loch Lomond, this Traditional Inn offers classic style rooms within the main building. Perfection location amongst the Lake District. Lovely facilities and the restaurant was fantastic for dinner and breakfast. We both had the steak pie for dinner and it was the one best I have ever had. Would definitely recommend it

The lobby is very inviting. Our room was very large and the view was beautiful. Waking up in the morning and seeing the Loch was a bonus. The bathtub was huge!!!! The food was amazing. My daughter said it was the best meal of our trip. She had the bathtub drink and it came in an adorable bathtub. The stairs are very steep. I suggest you take an overnight bag to your room and leave the rest of your luggage in the car.

"The Anchor Inn was a traditional Drovers Inn dating back to 1888. Over recent years, it has undergone tasteful modernisation and now boasts a nautical-themed bar and restaurant area with hearty food... We had an amazing welcome from the owner, the bedroom in the second building was really nice and by the way very quiet and the home-made food SO delicious ! We would definitely go back on another trip to Scotland.
