Good value for money, tho SUPER loud, from all sides - outside, neighbour rooms, corridor of staff. Staff is very friendly. Do NOT book if you don't have earplugs! With earplugs - okay.

The 3-star Mercure Apartments Manaus offers spacious apartments that feature a kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.

The rooms are very humid with mold smell. We asked to change rooms, and the new room is slightly better but still very humid. Around 2 am, we received a phone call from the reception that woke us up, saying that the fire alarm detected smoke in our room! They asked if everything looked fine in the room we said yes. Of course we were alarmed that something was wrong in the room and had trouble going back to sleep. If there was a smoke alarm, they should send a technician to the room to verify why the smoke detector was triggered. If it was a false alarm, then we expect an apology and a compensation for ruining our night! We do not recommend that hotel!

    The ship was lovely, cabin spacious and bed huge and comfortable. Cabin was serviced efficiently twice a day. Excellent food options. Lovely swimming pool, although jacuzzi stopped working during the trip. All excursions happened on time and exactly as expected. Guides were knowledgable and trips were interesting.

    This was the perfect place for me to relax and have my own space after 5 days in the jungle! Great value. The place is simple but has everything you need. The fact that it has a washing machine and soap to wash your clothes is just absolutely fantastic. Bed is comfy and towels are included. It’s a gated property so it feels very secure. The caretaker is super friendly and nice and give you recommendations for things to do etc.
