The hotel staff was the best, everyone was making sure we had the best stay. The breakfast was the best of our tour amongst many hotels, including a great variety of fresh food. The room was very large and the bed mattress firm and confortable.

A great place to stay in the heart of the Chapada Diamantina National Park with all its sights and trails. The Pousada is a little oasis of green, with a nice pool and a good restaurant. The food was really good with some nice local options and welcome salads and juices. I was very happy to stay there and would go back again. The road access is quite gruelling (I was coming from Vitoria da Conquista) but the last stretch from Palmeiras to Capao is in the process of a mega upgrade which will made the hotel much more accessible. The little road leading to the hotel will be a challenge in wet weather. It would be useful to have the street sign of the hotel illuminated for those arriving after dark - I had some difficulty finding the right place. A few small additions to the room would make it a little more comfortable: a chair and table, a kettle to boil water.
