VERY friendly and helpful staff! The room was clean and nice! Good food and drinks. They even arranged an alternate breakfast for me because I had to leave very early.

Well after a disastrous first night in a hostel down the road, we checked out early and found this little gem for a few dollars more. Wow, what a difference. Quiet, beautiful views from our room and balcony, crisp sheets to sleep in, pillows awesome, hot, hot shower which can be very rare in Colombia, fabulous breakfast included, free drinking water ( WP even though you can drink the water in Jericó as it’s treated), room serviced daily, staff helpful and smiling, free bananas left out for you, situated just two blocks from the main square! Don’t stay anywhere else!

El Despertar Hotel is surrounded by mountains and offers a wellness centre. Free WiFi access is also featured. The bright rooms are decorated with light colours and boast a colonial-style decoration....

It’s a beautiful place, with great staff/owners (helped us enormously with our transport to salento, super friendly lady taking care pf breakfast). Ideal location and cheap for the value of the (big) room you get. Can only recommend, would go again if we went to Jerico again.
