The place itself is beautiful & the staff was super nice and helpful.
Food was decent, though a bit overpriced (~30k per dish).
For transportation, a mototaxi to town costs 35k, while a colectivo 4WD is 30k, but you have to wait until it fills up.

Stunning location and view from the room. Balcony has view overlooking the mountains. In the middle of nature with the sound of exotic birds. Fresh air and perfect for hiking to the waterfalls. Peaceful retreat. Thrilling ride by moto taxi (motorbike) to get there - not for feint hearted. Family run and friendly staff who go out of their way to help. Highly recommended experience.

The hotel is very peaceful, it’s well located in between two waterfalls that you can walk to and the room is comfortable. The food is really tasty and the staff are helpful - I would definitely recommend staying here for a relaxed few days I. Minca!

We fell in love with Terramia Estate! The moment we entered our accommodation we decided to extend our stay (we actually stayed 3 nights). These types of accommodation are few and far between and we knew we had stumbled upon something magical.
The rooms have everything you need, we couldn’t believe how luxurious everything was despite being so far up the mountain. You can tell a lot of care was put into creating Terramia Estate.
We loved venturing during the day and coming back for a private jacuzzi as the sun went down or having a fire. You’ll wake up and hear howler monkeys (amazing) and see a lot of flora and fauna including big blue butterflies and humming birds.
You can bring your own food as the kitchen has everything you need for preparation or you can opt in for meals provided - we brought some food but after having one of the opt in meals we decided to continue with the opt in menu as it was absolutely delicious!
Daniel was superb, he took us on a coffee tour, planned a waterfall adventure for us and also spent a great deal of time helping us plan our next stop in Tayrona - he is phenomenal and we thank him so much for his genuine care.
We recommend this hotel as a must for anyone travelling to Minca.

The rooms themselves are amazing views and are completely open to the elements. The weather was excellent but we remarked that if it had rained, there is no protection unless the mesh doors to cover the bed area could be closed completely. Our mesh doors did not close completely.
The furniture is beautiful and well maintained. It was lovely to have a kitchen with dishes, cups and even cooking material! If I had known, I would have brought food to cook onsite.
Having a shower in the forest, while birds fly nearby, or sitting in the bathtub with only the open jungle around you, is a unique experience.
At night, any lights would attract large beetles and mosquitos, so unfortunately it wasn't comfortable to keep these on in the evening. There were no mosquito nets and we were not informed to bring any - which I think would have been helpful.
Wifi is only available at reception which is some distance from rooms. So unless you have phone/cell access, you will have no access to the outside. You truly feel immersed in nature.

Amazing property, we stayed as a halfway stop on our backpacking trip to give us chance to chill out. It was super relaxing and is in a lovely quiet location. Waterfalls to walk to nearby if you want a day out. Theo the host was super welcoming and gave us great advice for our transport home! Breakfast is great too! Cocoa the dog will sit on the balcony in the morning but he’s friendly and minds his own business - just make sure he doesn’t sneak inside behind you haha.
Everything was great , we would 100% recommend- Thankyou!

I stayed in the glamping tent and it was gorgeous. I was by myself but this would be perfect for couples as well. The location is quite convenient to the city.

The personnel is awsome, a very nice place to relax the food is very good. Its really worth the price. Thanks again nicole ❤️
Stepping into a hot tub and relaxing in its warm water is bliss. If you opt for a hotel with a jacuzzi, you can do this any time you like – morning, afternoon, or evening. Some hotels offer guests private hot tubs, while others have a shared jacuzzi that’s usually part of a wellness spa.
Amazing location and views - including from the lovely swimming pool!
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Lots of hammocks and comfortable spaces for relaxing.
Peaceful and surrounded by nature with very nice local walks. Visits to indigenous village and coffee/cacao farm were lovely.
We enjoyed the meals and chatting to others at the long dining room tables.
Beautiful sunsets with delicious pina coladas!
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Minca Express Relax. The room is well equipped, very clean with two fans. There is a fridge. You get access to an outside kitchen and space with a jacuzzi. The team is fantastic. Excellent quality at a very affordable price.
Great location for relaxing and enjoying nature and wildlife, right by the river. No loud music, very peaceful at night. We stayed in a private room with a private bathroom. The room was massive and all of the window screens were intact so we barely had any bugs at night. Perhaps the best shower in our 2 months of traveling so far! The staff were wonderful and very accommodating. It took us about 30 mins to walk down to Minca, 40 mins to walk up.
Spacious room with a private bathroom, good WiFi, nice shared outdoor kitchen, free coffee all day and nice communal spaces to sit. We were given a very warm welcome upon arriving and everyone was super friendly. The location is great too, next to where the buses to and from Santa Marta stop and 2 minute walk away from the street with all the restaurants. Great value for money too!
A really nice ecolodge with lots of activities and a nice restaurant. We found it a nice place to meet people in a chilled environment. Dorm rooms and the bathrooms were spacious. Woukd definitely recommend!
Beautiful hostel in the jungle above Minca, overlooking the hills, Santa Marta, and the sea. Yulia was a welcoming host, the rooms are spacious, and there are many hammocks you can relax in and watch the sunset. Lots of hikes are available right from the doorstep.
Good location, beautiful hostel, lovely staff.
The dome we stayed in with our private jacuzzi was lovely, lovely terrace overlooking the mountains, I booked it for me and my partners anniversary. Good food, the staff are friendly and went above and beyond to cater for all my extra requests. Muchos gracias!
Erika has created a magical space that invites you to breathe in all the nature and actually feel your body relax. We spent the afternoon in the outdoor bathtub watching a rain storm come in and then the sun come back out - it was perfection. I will be returning, especially as she really goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need. Also, make sure to ask her about the mirador!!
me and my boyfriend came here togheter for his birthday and the staff made our trip wonderful! beautiful scenery and very nice and relaxing settings. they provided very good communication before our arrival and helped me organise the perfect birthday surprise with a romantic dinner and surprise breakfast by the jacuzzi. definitely recommend this place for a special weekend away!
