The late 19th century Gilleleje Badehotel is located in the Zealand town Gilleleje, right in front of the ocean and Gilleleje Beach.

the disconection to daily life , in a little corner of the North Sealand region. close to nature, the ocean. amazing. The place has a beautiful fireplace. and a very small humble spa. just enough to relax. there is a restaurant there, the food is good and breakfast good as well. I recomend it to relax and unplug from the world. Gilleleje is just 1.7 km (20 mins walk) through a sweet beautiful path.

    Fantastic location - central but very quiet. 5 minute walk to the beach. Lovely room. Very comfortable beds. Great garden to sit in and relax with a glass of wine. Breakfast was outstanding.

    Very warm welcome,very clean room,the bathroom was private,but apart from the room,so I missed a bathrobe. Breakfast was delicious,and Coffee or tea all Day for free.

    Host (Majken) is delightful and incredibly helpful. We ate at several of her recommended restaurants which were all excellent. We had breakfast for two of the days we were there and it was home baked rolls and home baked strudel with fruit and yoghurt - again excellent. The garden and patio were a bonus - if you are looking for a place to relax then this is perfect. Short walk to the huge white sandy beach which was deserted even through weather still fine (I heard that it get busy in July - but late August very quiet).

    The owner, Majken, is a great host and is super attentive to make sure you have all you need to be comfortable and relaxed. We loved our deluxe room. It was beautiful, comfortable (great bed & linnen!) and very clean. The garden is lovely with a lot of sun and good sitting places. The kitchen / breakfast area is comfortable and practical. Great breakfast. The location is outstanding. We loved it all and will be back as soon as we can.
