The room I stayed in was basic, with air con, essential in the Summer in these regions, an adequate bathroom, free wifi, lounge, and lift. The location is excellent as it is placed just off a very nice area of the city with plenty of public transport available. However you can book this in advance with booking.com for £10 so it's better value to do that. The relaxing solarium on the top floor is great for chilling and a great place to relax. A good choice both for relaxing 'at home' as well as a base for exploring the sights. We don't drive and everything is easy to reach on foot. They upgraded us to the suite, which had 2 double bedrooms and a lounge area, plus large bathroom and great views over Almeria. This was a lovely bonus to our couple of days away.
