Very close to the beach, spacious family room, nice swimming pools and poolside bars. Helpful staff. Easy to park in the area (though probably in high season it's harder).
Nestled in a paradise, located on the beachfront and framed by the panoramic views of Cabo de Gata, the Bay of Almeria and the Mediterranean Sea, after a complete and luxurious refurbishment the new 5...

The 50m pool, although it was closed until 11am, which is very late for a pool to open, and the fact that our room was upgraded.
This seafront hotel is surrounded by gardens and has an outdoor swimming pool with free towels and sun loungers. Playadulce offers free Wi-Fi in common areas on the 4th floor.
Playasol Aquapark & Spa Hotel offers sea views in the heart of Roquetas de Mar. It has a pool with water slides, spa and 30 minutes of free Wi-Fi in public areas.
Stepping into a hot tub and relaxing in its warm water is bliss. If you opt for a hotel with a jacuzzi, you can do this any time you like – morning, afternoon, or evening. Some hotels offer guests private hot tubs, while others have a shared jacuzzi that’s usually part of a wellness spa.
Staff, especially Mr Eloi, but also Juan, Guillermo and a young female staff were friendly and helpful, being available 24/7. The room I stayed in was basic, with air con, essential in the Summer in these regions, an adequate bathroom, free wifi, lounge, and lift. The location is excellent as it is placed just off a very nice area of the city with plenty of public transport available. People are friendly and helpful in general and the hospitality offer is outstanding across the city.
A lovely spacious and attractive room, spotlessly clean.
A very good buffet breakfast at €20 if you book at the hotel. However you can book this in advance with booking.com for £10 so it's better value to do that. The relaxing solarium on the top floor is great for chilling and a great place to relax.
The hotel is very central and less than a 10 mins walk from the bus/ train stations.
Very large room. Exceptionally large bed. Spacious bathroom. Friendly staff. Delicious and varied breakfast. Real scrambled eggs, bacon, juices, a wide selection of cheese and ham, fruits and pastries. Very convenient parking, albeit at an extra cost, but worth it.
The location is lovely with fabulous views from the roof terrace both day and night
The beds were very comfy and the room was spacious
The spa and baths were amazing and so relaxing
The staff were very friendly and spoke good English which was helpful to us
Our second stay at the apartment, which we like for its clean, modern space, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, great roof terrace, and location a short walk from shops, bars, restaurants and seafront. A good choice both for relaxing 'at home' as well as a base for exploring the sights. We don't drive and everything is easy to reach on foot. Lovely hosts, willing to help.
BlueMar is great place to stay. The room was small but offers everything you need. The bathroom was big, spacy. Place has parking spots. If you looking for a place to relax and close to the sea this is it. I’ll probably return there at some point.
I like everything we were two Mummy’s with one child each so they gave us great rooms beside each other and beside the pool and breakfast so the kids loved it as it’s on the roof. The spa and baths are amazing so relaxing so glad l did it. The breakfast was great lots of options and gluten free options too.
close to the centre yet quite. many restaurants and coffee shops are around. well furnished in style. the suite was spacious. bath tub jacuzzi was a great idea after sightseeing. helpful nice staff.
the hotel was a perfect location for our shopping trip, when we checked in, which was very efficient and easy, they said as we had booked a triple room, we may be more comfortable in their suite, which had more space. They upgraded us to the suite, which had 2 double bedrooms and a lounge area, plus large bathroom and great views over Almeria. This was a lovely bonus to our couple of days away. Also parking was easy to access, with a lift up to reception and rooms
I liked everything about this hotel, but what makes it a real standout is the ancient baths in the basement. An amazing, relaxing and very special space. Don't miss them!
