The host was very polite and helpful, she made sure everything we need is prepared and we feel comfortable. We even had a bottle of wine "from the house".
The place is located in a super secluded area on top of the ridge there is absolutely noone around and with amazing views. Cleanliness was very good, there were also beach towels which we liked. Free parking space and you're just 7-8 min driving to the nearest village Vega de San Mateo. The location is perfect for us, 30 min to pico de las nieves and roque nublo and around 50 min to Maspalomas and Las Palmas. Internet connection was very good via WiFi.
Casa Rural La Escalerilla is located in Teror, 29 km from Parque de Santa Catalina, 17 km from Campo de Golf de Bandama, and 19 km from TiDES.

A sympathetically restored detached house in the mountains with a beautiful view across the valley. Good location for exploring the area by car.
The house is over 100 years old and is full of character with many original fittings. It has a wood burning stove as well as electric heating which was very cosy in January. We could get Netflix on the tv too.
There is a sundeck outside above the roofline which has outdoor furniture and a jacuzzi. The property is south facing so catches the sun all day. It’s a perfect place to relax. You will find everything for self catering in the kitchen. There was oil and many condiments provided and a bottle of wine(thank you Jose) Be aware there are quite a few steps from the road to the house, but well worth it for the view. The host Jose is a lovely guy and is always on call to help.
Set in Vega de San Mateo, 36 km from Parque de Santa Catalina and 24 km from Campo de Golf de Bandama, Casa Fuente Hervera offers an open-air bath and air conditioning.

We had a really good stay! The studio is well-equipped with fast internet, a smart TV, and a small, welcoming kitchen that made even the bad weather enjoyable. The property is high up in the mountains, the road is quite steep, and it’s secluded from the rest of the island—but that’s part of what makes it special.
Unfortunately, two days of our stay were very foggy, so we couldn’t enjoy the view from the jacuzzi, but I imagine it would be incredible on a sunny day. If you plan to use the hot tub right after arrival, I’d recommend asking the host to preheat it, as it takes a few hours to reach the right temperature and we were not able to use on the first day.
The host was very responsive, and we really appreciated the breakfast items left for us in the fridge. One thing to keep in mind—there are no big shops nearby, so it’s a good idea to do some shopping before heading up.
Overall, a very good stay.
Stepping into a hot tub and relaxing in its warm water is bliss. If you opt for a hotel with a jacuzzi, you can do this any time you like – morning, afternoon, or evening. Some hotels offer guests private hot tubs, while others have a shared jacuzzi that’s usually part of a wellness spa.
Top tier sunset and sunrise, with the direct view of Roque Nublo, the icon of Gran Canarias! Great bar facility and restaurant with iconic view, indoor and outdoor seating. Optional (extra charge) infinity pool and spa / pamper facilities. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Roads to and from the venue are mountainous like the rest of the island, but not difficult. Parking provided.
The sunset spa, the view from the outdoor terrace bar. Highlight was breakfast. Very relaxing breakfast each morning surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery with wonderful staff minding us
Perfect location, parking good. Immaculate apt and owners Antonio and Andrea have thought of every little touch, such as soap, cleaning utensils. Shopping bags, walking poles, and even a lovely bottle of red and sparkling and still water. Will def be back. So relaxing with lots of amazing coffee shops and restaurants.
Very quaint house with beautiful surroundings. If you get good weather, it'd be a nice place to peacefully relax after a hike, on the sun loungers in the garden. There's space outside to bbq. Very friendly and responsive host.
Take note that the road leading to the house is very narrow, with sharp bends and steep inclines and drops.
If you like modern, luxury hotels- this one is not for you. But if you're looking fore an authentic, rural climate- its perfect! The area was beauriful, i loved the romantic, vintage vibe. We loved real, old antique furniture. Bathroom was pretty modern and clean. Restaurant is really nice, we had delicious dinner there. And hens walking around in the morning... What an atmosphere!
large comfortable apartment in the middle of Tejeda with enclosed outdoor space, tables and barbie. Lots of furnishings, books adornments make it homely. kitchen and bathroom were well equipped. Alicia was lovely and left us a massive slab of cheese in the fridge and brought us fresh bread each day
We stayed here with motorbikes and it is the best starting point for driving around the island.
The house was clean, tastefully decorated and equipped with everything needed.
The hot tub at the end of the day was a great relaxation for tired muscles.
The view of the landscape and the sunsets were amazing.
I’d definitely stay here again. We had apartment 5 which had a great view of the mountains from the living room. the hosts were responsive when we messaged them with any questions. Kitchen is well equipped with hobs, microwave, lots of plates, pots, pans and enough utensils to cook basic meals, saved us some money on meals out every night. it’s modern looking, clean and the lounge area was nice and comfortable to sit and relax after a day hiking.
