Could not have been better. Also a delightful street view from the little balcony. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a lovely design, spacious and very clean. My french is not great but Hélène the host spoke English and was very understanding and helpful. It has obviously been somebody's private home, as many of the furnishings were antique or vintage (? from original owner) We were made very welcome, and the de luxe suite we stayed in was very spacy, with a huge and luxurious ensuite bathroom. The bed was enormous. We had coffee making facilities, and a separate seating area to watch television. The back of the hotel had a large garden, and parking. We had a room in the annexe with air conditioning which was a bonus as the weather was exceptionally hot for May. The staff were incredibly helpful offering dinner and breakfast which was good value.
