Don’t think about it, just book this place! The location is fabulous (you do need a car though) the hosts were wonderful, the rooms are simple but luxurious. The Annecy area can be a little crowded, so it was great to quiet spot to relax.

This place has views unlike any other hotel! It was one of the most lovely and whimsical places I’ve ever stayed. Behind the hotel is a beautiful mountain which seems to always have paragliding happening. The other side is the beautiful lake where you can sit on chairs right next to the water while you eat and drink wine. The character and history of the building was beautiful. The staff was excellent, especially the waiters and waitresses. I am vegan and my boyfriend vegetarian, they were more than happy to make us amazing meals! There is a plant based menu for dinner as well which we were so happy to see. The food is wonderful and beautifully presented. They have a nice parking lot for people who drive there and have bikes you can rent which I highly recommend. We will definitely try to return soon!

Fantastic hotel. Amenities good, staff brilliant, breakfast very good with excellent coffee. The location is perfect (ok, it was a very sunny weekend in September) for walks, swims and dinning in the village.

When we arrived we noticed that the apartment which we thought we had reserved was on the sixth floor with no elevator. The stairs were very narrow, impossible to bring up bags. The apartment as stated in website was a room not an apartment. I request that I get a refund as I did not accept the room. The host was very nice and understood that we could not climb all those stairs with luggage. We also feel that it was misleading to believe we were getting a small apartment when it was actually a room.
