Beautiful, peaceful setting on the banks of Loch Ard. We got an upgrade, too! Great food, lovely wine and made sure I was catered for (I'm vegan). Nothing was too much trouble

Featuring a hot tub, Luxury Glamping Pods - The Heft & The Hirsel is located in Glasgow. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking.

We had such a fantastic stay here! It is a great location and the pod was so lovely and had anything we could possibly need. The hot tub looked over the fields and had such a stunning view of the sunset. The pods are a bit closer than I was expecting and the pod that was occupied across from us had a dog staying. There is of course no issue with this, other than the fact the dog can roam onto our area and I myself am uncomfortable with large dogs that I’m not familiar with. It wasn’t a massive issue as the owners were relatively on top of their dog but would have appreciated a gate or something similar to close off our area. This is nothing to do with the quality of our stay or the pod itself as facilities were amazing and we had such a good weekend. Would absolutely return!

The grounds of the hotel were amazing, lots of spaces to relax in the peace and quiet. Having the loch right next to the hotel as well as the rolling mountains gave the location an excellent back drop. We never took our pup but the hotel is very dog-friendly! We enjoyed dinner at the Rafters Bistro, very tasty and had excellent customer service. The staff overall at this hotel are wonderful and I will definitely stay again in the future.

Breathtaking surroundings and beautiful grounds. We had a little standard attic room, but it was very quaint, clean, and perfectly fitted out...Elemis products. The spa was a lovely bonus, and the massaging whirlpool was worth the detour we took to book this hotel. The drive from Aberfoyle to the hotel was stunning. Highly recommended for ambience and location.

Stunning location on the banks of the Loch, the Hotel and grounds were enjoyable. Lounge bar ideal for a relaxing drink. We stayed in a traditional apartment with lots of space, well-appointed kitchen for a self catering stay and a surprise sauna in one of the bathrooms.

BEAUTIFUL area, just absolutely gorgeous... definitely need a car to reach it, though. Staff members were very nice yet professional, the view from the restaurant was magical. The ambience in the lounge, in front of a fire, with a Christmas tree and relaxing music in the background was spot on. We came early December so it wasn't too busy in the spa and outside areas, which was a bonus, but I'd love to come back in the summer. The spa kept us warm and relaxed though :).

Location was lovely, the grounds were very nice, the view from our balcony was excellent. The leisure facility's, swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were lovely. The spa treatment, manicure and pedicure very relaxing. Rafters lounge food was quite nice and plenty of it.

Spa facilities were lovely, very clean and great jacuzzi. Free parking was good. Bedrooms were ok and had tea and coffee facilities. Wifi was exceptional which was great as the area has absolutely no phone reception. Loved the speaker in the toilet so you can listen to music whilst having a bath/shower. Scott Anderson is a great staff member and also the guy on the desk at the spa was extremely helpful and informative. Its great that they are also dog friendly.

The room was nice, the bed was so comfortable and relaxing and I had a nice view of the loch and mountains from my window. I also liked the bathroom as it was modern. I really enjoyed my signature spa treatment, that was the best part of my trip.
