This is indeed a luxury yurt! It had everything we wanted and more. In particular, the bedding was super comfy!
We stayed for 7 nights during late May and used the hot tub for 6 of those and the braai for 5. We used the internal fire for 1 night when it was cooler (following rainy weather) and the yurt was toasty. The compost toilet was very beneficial; and the shared bathroom was always clean and had availability (even during half term holidays).
The site itself was beautiful and the camping community, including owners Gail and Amy, were lovely!
Great value for a longer stay and would absolutely return.

The wood burner was great for making the cottage warm and cosy in the evenings, and the hot tub was such a treat to come back to after our walks. The bed was comfortable, and all the amenities were great. The welcome booklet had lots of information which was greatly appreciated. We also loved the on-site shop with lots of fresh produce to enjoy. Really good location that had nearby access to hikes and experiences.

I stayed at Dannah Farm Country House for a short solo getaway, and it turned out to be one of the most peaceful, restorative experiences I’ve had in a long time.
From the moment I arrived, everything about the place invited calm—from the stunning countryside surroundings to the thoughtful details inside the accommodation. The room was spotless, cozy, and felt like it was designed to hold you gently through whatever kind of rest you needed.
The private spa area was truly the highlight for me—soothing, quiet, and exactly what I didn’t know I needed. I spent time in the hot tub surrounded by stillness, and it felt like the world slowed down just enough to breathe again.
The staff were warm and kind without ever being intrusive, and breakfast was lovely—fresh, delicious, and prepared with care.
This place isn’t just beautiful—it’s thoughtful. It holds space for rest in a way that feels rare these days. I left lighter, calmer, and incredibly grateful.
Highly recommended, especially if you need somewhere to reset.

We had the best stay here, I highly recommend! The lodge was absolutely SPOTLESS upon arrival. Everything looked brand new and clean. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking utensils, pots and pans that we needed - which were all really good quality. The washer/dryer was really useful after muddy walks in the Peaks. The hot tub was the perfect temperature and easy to use and a lovely place to relax tired legs after a day of walking. Bed was huge and comfortable, we both slept like babies. And the shower was always hot with good water pressure. We loved waking up to the bird song in the forest and the calm feeling of being surrounded by nature. Would come back and am recommending to all my friends.

I love the location. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable and nice and clean
Stepping into a hot tub and relaxing in its warm water is bliss. If you opt for a hotel with a jacuzzi, you can do this any time you like – morning, afternoon, or evening. Some hotels offer guests private hot tubs, while others have a shared jacuzzi that’s usually part of a wellness spa.
The pod was excellent, immaculately clean and everything you could need for a couple of days, the hot tub was so relaxing after long days of walking at the golf. Jane the owner met us on the first day to explain everything and even gave us a lift to the course on the two days, couldn’t do enough for us.
Perfect for 4 grown ups and 2 kids. 3bedrooms 2 bathrooms and big lounge diner met all our needs. Located in a lovely village opposite an excellent pub and surtounded by great walks
Location was quiet and very pretty with plenty of living space. Bedrooms were well appointed with en-suite bathrooms and the kitchen was well equipped and spacious. Lovely open plan kitchen, dining, lounge area, great for socialising.
