Super clean and great for families. Kitchen well appointed and there was a grill to use (although we didn’t). Had dvds and books for the kids which was nice also. Good communication.

It was nice that most activities were free. My child loved what was offerred. We ate at two of your restaurants, Aspire and Giovani's. Both were very good and appropriately priced for what we got. It is dissapointing that the highland fish bar did not have a gluten free option.

Very close to the train station and walking distance to Aviemore. Did not get the chance to use the hot tub, but the sauna was a nice bonus especially in December. The room was very comfortable and the hosts are wonderful! The breakfast is better than anything you would get at a hotel. I would stay here again next time I am in Aviemore.

Stepping into a hot tub and soaking in warm water is bliss. If you choose a hotel with a jacuzzi, you can do this any time you want – morning, afternoon, or evening. Some hotels offer private hot tubs, while others have shared jacuzzis, usually part of a wellness spa.

The Polchar was in an ideal location, had plenty of large rooms for couples, several rooms to gather, a great hot tub, and a beautiful garden path. It was nice to be able to come back from our adventures and cook dinner together.

The house was a great size for 8 guests (4 adults, 4 children) with plenty of space to eat either in the dining room or outside (which was great as the sun was shining the whole week) which meant we didn't feel the need to go out for dinner. The children loved playing in and around the house too, the hot tub was a bonus too, lovely to relax in at the end of the day :)
I loved the swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna - bliss!
Loved my big giant bed and clean, modern bathroom.
The Woodshed bar was a nice chilled out bar.
Great to be so close to forest trails.
Perfect location and the hot tub was a big attraction for us. Plenty space indoors for a family of 5, spacious lounge and dining room and nice modern kitchen.
The house was spacious and well laid out. It was clean and tidy. There was a high chair and travel cot we were able to use. The hot tub was very relaxing, just what is needed after looking after 18 month old. Lovely quiet area.
Generally excellent. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Access easy and location private although handy for access to the village. We would stay here again. The hot tub was very popular and was regularly maintained. Kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms had clean linen with comfortable beds. Bathrooms clean and modern with fresh towels etc
A good selection of food for breakfast, and the staff were very friendly. The room was clean and the size was fine, with the room kept at a good temperature for me. I liked the pillows, and I was pleased with the hairdryer available. The bathroom was nice with some good options for soaps. There were lots of spaces available for parking, and we were able to park in a place where we could see the car from the hotel room. There are a few shops nearby which is handy. The location is great for going on relaxing walks.

In general a very pleasant stay.
Had a lovely relaxing weekend at Carn Mhor. House is gorgeous, feels very spacious and cosy. Beds comfy and having 4 bathrooms was brilliant with 3 kids and 5 adults!
Perfect location, walkable distance to train and bus services and plenty of supermarkets. Right next to the entrance for Craigellachie nature reserve. There are hikes to do there, you could also take the bus to Glenmore or train to Kingussie for additional hikes. Well-equipped kitchen and spacious, warm lounge. Clean showers and bathroom. Heated stands for shoes plus a drying room, which was a godsend.
Sociable space for our family reunion in summer - large dining table and lounge, spacious bedrooms and multiple bathrooms, functional kitchen and laundry. BBQ. Fun extras - Hot tub, darts, air hockey table. Good for kids - fenced lawn and play park nearby. Close drive to centre of Aviemore. Kids adventure park up the road. Family cycling hire in town. Damage deposit was released easily because no issues.
